What this is made of
The photograph
Grass, Bokeh And A Litle Beam Of Sunlight by Alfred Grupstra, taken 11 June 2015, released under CC0 and published on Wikimedia Commons. Seed heads on the stalk — the grain a quern is for. It was scaled and encoded for the web; no other change was made to it.

The mark
The grinding face of a hand mill: the eye at the centre, where the grain goes in, and the
furrows that carry the flour out to the rim. Drawn for Quern; it has one definition, in
js/mark.js, from which the favicon, the app icons and the social images are all
generated, so there is no second copy to drift.
The contracts
Quern deploys nothing. Every transaction goes to a contract that was already live on Robinhood Chain and was read back on chain before being written into this site's configuration:
Uniswap v4 and the Universal Router are Uniswap Labs'. Permit2 is Uniswap's. Multicall3 is MakerDAO's, at its usual address. USDG (Global Dollar) is issued by Paxos. Quern is not affiliated with Robinhood, Uniswap or Paxos, and none of them endorse it.
Everything else
ethers.js v6.13.5 (MIT), served from this origin rather than a CDN. No analytics, no trackers, no cookies. Reads go through a small read-only proxy on this site so a public node's rate limit cannot blank the page; your transactions go from your wallet to your wallet's own node and never touch it.
